I found the base of the old tower where William fell. How do I find out more?
1 of 10: Examine the bent section of fencing. That's undoubtedly where William's body landed. (You saw it falling toward this fence at the end of the game's opening movie.)
2 of 10: After you examine the bent fencing, you can ask someone for more details.
3 of 10: Look for Bates and talk to him about the place of William's death.
4 of 10: Bates will walk you back to the bent fence and point out an odd red symbol on the side of the tower, just to the right of the window nearest the bent fencing. (The stain was visible before, but you couldn't do anything with it.)
5 of 10: Now that the stain is interactive, click on it for a close-up, and then click on the symbol.
