How can I get into the church building?
1 of 3: If you try both the front door and the side door, you'll find that neither of them is unlocked.
2 of 3: Ask the grave-digger -- who's digging somebody's grave to the right of the church -- if he can open one of the doors for you.
3 of 3: He refuses to open any door for you, saying that you'll have to wait until tomorrow when Father Frederick returns. It looks like you won't be getting into the church today. (Good thing you don't need to.)
