How can I get inside Richard's lab?

  • 1 of 11: You need someone to show you the way. Search around the house for possible guides.
  • 2 of 11: There's only one living thing here besides Samuel...
  • 3 of 11: ...the cat sleeping on the old fireplace's mantel.
  • 4 of 11: Click on the cat to scare it up and get it going.
  • 5 of 11: Samuel notices that it runs into the nearby wardrobe. (Shades of C.S. Lewis!) Unfortunately, the wardrobe's interior is too dark for Samuel to see anything.
  • 6 of 11: You need to find a portable light source.
  • 7 of 11: If you don't have one already, look for a light source nearby.
  • 8 of 11: You'll need to look behind the little door by the fireplace.
  • 9 of 11: You'll find a little niche with a candle and a cigarette lighter in it. Perfect!
  • 10 of 11: Well, almost. The lighter won't work.
  • 11 of 11: Use the lighter on the wardrobe to find the latch for the secret door that leads to Richard's secret lab.
