Where can I get some glue?

  • 1 of 16: Unfortunately, that's one necessary item that the abandoned house doesn't kindly provide. You'll need to search around elsewhere for it.
  • 2 of 16: But there's none to be found anywhere!
  • 3 of 16: You'll have to solve a minor puzzle to find it.
  • 4 of 16: Have you talked to Eleanor about the doorbell? She'll ask you to tell Louis the caretaker to fix it right away, so go do so.
  • 5 of 16: You'll find him spraying the dead tree at the path fork. Talk to him about the doorbell, then leave and reenter the path fork area to get him going on it.
  • 6 of 16: He'll now be at the main gate with his toolbox, working on the doorbell.
  • 7 of 16: Say, he may have some glue in that toolbox!
  • 8 of 16: Too bad Samuel's too timid to ask for it or try to steal it.
  • 9 of 16: You'll need to find a way to distract Louis.
  • 10 of 16: Why not go back to the mansion and see if you can get Eleanor to decoy Louis off with another chore?
  • 11 of 16: If you've clicked on Louis' toolbox at least once, entering the mansion again will get Eleanor to initiate conversation and ask you to tell Louis to start mowing the lawn immediately.
  • 12 of 16: When you tell him this, he'll be stubborn and go back to fixing the doorbell. How dare he?!
  • 13 of 16: You'd better go tell Eleanor about this bit of insubordination.
  • 14 of 16: Talk to her about the lawnmowing, and she'll insist that Louis do it right now. Good for her!
  • 15 of 16: Now go talk to Louis one more time (pant, puff!), and he'll finally agree to do the mowing. To get him started, go to the garden or mansion and then back to the path fork.
  • 16 of 16: Now you can return to the main gate area and raid the toolbox for glue.
