What do I do with the statues in the back section?
1 of 5: You can't do anything with the statues themselves, but you can examine the empty stone bowl that each one is holding.
2 of 5: You should soon realize that making any progress in here depends on figuring out what item to put in each statue's bowl.
3 of 5: It turns out that the statues represent the ancient gods of strife, the harvest, and the waters of the earth (in left-to-right order).
4 of 5: It would make sense that whatever you need to place in each of their bowls would be associated with these three themes. (Note that these items aren't obtainable until after Richard tells you about the statues -- you can't just skip that part.)
5 of 5: Put the blood in the left statue's bowl, the soil in the middle statue's bowl, and the water in the right statue's bowl to raise up another one of those puzzle altar things in the center of the statue area.
