What else am I supposed to find around here?

  • 1 of 13: A vital piece of evidence. Left- and right-click on everything interactive in the area until Samuel spots it.
  • 2 of 13: Check out that green plant on the ground next to the leftmost of the three large menhir stones. (It's just to the left of the exit path.) Right-clicking on it will reveal a piece of cloth hidden in it.
  • 3 of 13: Samuel doesn't want the detective to know about it, so he insists that you figure out how to distract the detective first. Think about what might interest the detective enough to be a useful distraction.
  • 4 of 13: He's standing there studying that blood-splattered altar with a great deal of interest.
  • 5 of 13: Perhaps another such scene would be of interest to him.
  • 6 of 13: You fooled Richard with the fake boron oxidant -- this detective doesn't look any sharper than Richard.
  • 7 of 13: Perhaps you could rig another blood-splattered scene for the detective to study.
  • 8 of 13: Checking your inventory, you'll see that Samuel saved some of that blood he got from Richard in Chapter III.
  • 9 of 13: You'll have to go behind the detective's back (literally) so that he'd have to turn around, giving Samuel a chance to snatch the mysterious cloth.
  • 10 of 13: There's a rock on the ground behind the detective that's interactive. Try it.
  • 11 of 13: The detective won't notice it without your help.
  • 12 of 13: Use the bottle of blood on the rock to set up the fake splatter scene, then talk to the detective about blood to get him to see it.
  • 13 of 13: Now that the detective's back is to the plant, right-click on it again to snatch the cloth, which turns out to be a handkerchief with the Gordon family symbol on it. How suspicious, especially given Robert's recent disappearance!
