How do I get the cogwheel out of the murky water?
1 of 7: You basically need to fish it out.
2 of 7: You don't have a fishing pole, but perhaps you could make one.
3 of 7: Notice that Samuel took back the rod after using it as a lever earlier in the game. There's your fishing rod! Now you need a line and a hook.
4 of 7: You won't find what you need in the underground rooms.
5 of 7: Try looking back up in the cellar area.
6 of 7: There's a rope with some hooks on it hanging across two of the little pillars on the large central well. That's your line and hook!
7 of 7: To get the fishing pole constructed, click the hook on the rope and then the rope-and-hook setup on the rod. Use that on the floating cogwheel to reel it in.
