Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines Hints
How can I get through the part of the sewers after going through the drain?
of 15: This part is a lot more annoying.
of 15: Start by grabbing the ladder on the wall before you get sucked into the fans and killed.
of 15: Then the only way to go is across the water, and through the small tunnel. Note that all the tunnels have one of those demons in them.
of 15: On the other side, there appears to be a dead end, but if you look carefully, you will see there is a hole above one of the fans. You'll have to stop it from spinning.
of 15: To do so, grab a barrel from nearby and toss it at the fans. They will stop, allowing you to jump onto them, and into the hole. Go through it to another section.
of 15: You'll end up on top of a ramp, go down the ladder at the other end.
of 15: There's two possible holes you can fall down here. Drop down the one farther from you, without any water in it. Get through some pipes, and through a door.
of 15: I recommend saving here. As you walk across this bridge, it will break underneath you. You can jump over it without too much trouble if you know it's coming, but if you fall, you'll have to go and climb up the ladder next to the electricity, and take some damage.
of 15: Once you've cleaned out the demons on the walkway above the water, you'll want to turn off the electricity. To do this, either hack the computer to turn it off (electrical: tank), or pick the lock on the end of the platform, go into the room, and flip the switch.
of 15: Once that's done, it's time for the most frustrating puzzle in the game!
of 15: You have to get into the water on the far side of the room, and swim down the passage to one of the reservoirs, while they are still filled with water. They only problem is, when they are filled, a fan is blowing which makes it impossible for you to swim that direction.
of 15: So you will have to be very quick. Flip the switch on the machinery with the green/red lights. Wait for the reservoirs to empty. You can try swimming to them now to get an idea of where you have to go, but you can't progress.
of 15: Now, the annoying part. If you have Celerity it's a LOT easier. Flip the switch again to fill up the reservoirs. Immediately go to the end of the platform, jump off the railing, and get into the water. Turn on Celerity if you have it.
of 15: Swim towards the fan, you will start to slow down, but don't worry about it, keep going. If you did it fast enough, you should be JUST able to make it to the fan, and into the reservoir on the right (#2). If you get stuck right at the fan, you can sometimes strafe sideways and make it into the tunnel. If not, you'll have to go back and try it again.
of 15: Once you get to the reservoir, swim up and go through the pipes to finally make it to Warrens 3.
