Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines Hints

How can I get through the final, maze area of the old sewers?

  • 1 of 15: This part is by far the most frustrating, if you don't know where to go.
  • 2 of 15: You'll have to start by dropping down a long ways. Jump from pipe to pipe until you reach the bottom. The spinning fans will damage you if they hit you, but probably won't totally kill you.
  • 3 of 15: Once you dropped down, you will be in a maze. This place is lousy. The enemies in here are mostly the massive minibosses you faced in the last level, but thankfully, you can sneak by all but one of them pretty easily even without Obfuscate.
  • 4 of 15: The only "hint" to be given about getting through the maze is to check the numbers on the walls when the path branches. Your general objective is to get the numbers to go down.
  • 5 of 15: You will also have to find one "special event" in the maze, where you will find a key to use at the end of the level.
  • 6 of 15: That said, here are basic instructions for getting through the maze. Always be careful when making turns, as the extra-large demon bosses are often hiding in the alcoves. It's a good idea to sneak through most of this area, as they are pretty blind.
  • 7 of 15: To start, go straight until you reach a T-Junction, and take a left.
  • 8 of 15: Then continue along the linear path until the path breaks off in two directions, one straight, and one to the right up a ramp.
  • 9 of 15: You'll need to head up the ramp, where you will see a Nosferatu running by. Go check it out.
  • 10 of 15: Kill the two big demons, find the Nosferatu's corpse, and grab the keycard he dropped.
  • 11 of 15: Then go back down to the bottom of the ramp, and head to the right (the direction that was straight before heading up the ramp).
  • 12 of 15: The path from here is mostly linear, with a few alcoves looking like turns where minibosses lurk. There will be one passage where a miniboss will be patrolling, which you cannot avoid fighting unless you have Obfuscate, since you have to get past it.
  • 13 of 15: Eventually, you will get to a place where the path splits in two directions. Go either way; it doesn't matter. You will end up in a large oval room, which heralds the end of the maze.
  • 14 of 15: Climb up to the computer interface, and use the keycard you found earlier in the maze to open the panel, and push the button. It's pretty obvious where to go now.
  • 15 of 15: Climb the ladder on the other structure, and drop down into the big hole, to FINALLY enter the Nosferatu Warrens.
