Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines Hints

Toreador

  • 1 of 3: Toreadors are the artsy-fartsy Vampires. They are largely socially based characters, but they are actually quite effective in combat, simply because they get Celerity. You'll have to be careful about not killing people when you feed, as you can run out of Humanity and lose the game quickly, but Toreadors are probably the second easiest clan in the game next to the Brujah. Toreadors start with Social stats and Talents as their specialties.
  • 2 of 3: You don't really have to emphasize social feats, but what's the point of playing a Toreador if you don't? Female Toreadors with decent Seduction and Persuasion will be able to breeze through the first half of the game, talking their way out of most situations. Males can too, there's just somewhat fewer Seduction options. Of course, this stops once you get deeper into the game, so you will want to get some combat feats as well. I recommend Firearms, because it works quite nicely with Celerity, and because Toreador are not great at taking punishment, which is an unavoidable part of Melee/Unarmed combat.
  • 3 of 3: Overall, this is a good Clan for beginners, and it's also fun for people who want to try the game with a more social approach after playing a combat oriented clan. They may seem like complete wusses, but Toreadors are some of the deadlier Vampires out there.
