Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines Hints
Ventrue
1 of 3: The upper-class, socially adept clan of Vampire. They are pretty easy to play, since their disciplines are mostly geared towards combat, and they can take a fair beating with high Fortitude. Ventrue start with Social stats and Knowledges as their specialties.
2 of 3: It's very easy to talk your way through the social parts of the game, since you can use Dominate in dialogue. Get a couple levels of Dominate in order to be able to use it to its maximum effectiveness. Having Dominate means you won't really need to concentrate too much on Social feats, freeing you up to become a strong force in combat. With Fortitude and Presence, you are best suited for close combat, so I would recommend boosting Melee. You won't need to spend much XP on Brawl, since you can get 2 free points in game, and by the end it's really only useful for feeding on enemies in combat anyway.
3 of 3: Overall, Ventrue are one of the less challenging clans, and by the end you will probably be quite a force in combat and in conversation. Some of the Domination options are also quite entertaining. A very well-balanced clan, which is good for a first time through the game.
