Research
1 of 2: It's pretty good, as there are books for something that will influence basically every feat. However, it is rather expensive XP-wise to get up to a level where you can use the books that will save you a lot of XP. I guess it's a trade off. I never did the calculations to see if it is eventually worth it, but I assume it is.
2 of 2: If you are building a social character, and going for Persuasion, Scholarship will help you with both Persuasion and Research.
