Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines Hints
How can I get out of the basement?
of 9: Well, take a look around. You might notice that there is an elevator. You'll use this to get up, but unfortunately there's no power. You'll need to turn on the lights.
of 9: Past the two unopenable doors, if you go down the hallway, you will see a blood-covered girl run across in front of you, and disappear. Follow her.
of 9: In the room you end up next to, look around carefully for any possible clues.
of 9: In the second part of the room, which you get to by breaking a board covering the wall, you can find a newspaper. Read it. It should be fairly obvious where you have to look next.
of 9: Go find the laundry room. You'll hear a rattling noise, and one of the washers will open. Take a look inside, and grab the boiler room key.
of 9: Find the previously unopenable boiler room door, and use the key to get in. Don't worry about the scary axe-wielding guy -- he can't actually hurt you.
of 9: Make your way past the big tanks, open the gate at the end, and pull the switch to turn on the power.
of 9: Everything has gone pretty crazy in the room. Run out as quickly and directly as you can. It's possible to die from getting hit by the steam in here.
of 9: Once out, follow the sign to the elevator, and use it to finally get out of this stupid basement.
