Is there anything special about the paintings?
1 of 7: Yes, as a matter of fact there is.
2 of 7: If you look below the paintings before slashing them, you'll notice labels.
3 of 7: They are paintings of the story of Caine, the mythological father of all Kindred.
4 of 7: Slash the paintings in the correct order of the story, and something interesting will happen.
5 of 7: The correct order is "Caine murders Abel", "Caine cursed by God", "Caine meets Lillith", "Caine spurns Lillith".
6 of 7: Slash them in that order, and a blood covered mini-boss will appear.
7 of 7: Kill him -- he's quite easy, even for those inept at combat. You'll get 3 extra XP.
