The Elder Scrolls III: Bloodmoon Hints
Disrupt the Skaal Hunt
of 8: Your next dream-quest has you going and disrupting the Ristaag hunt that the Skaal are performing.
of 8: Checking your journal entry, you'll notice it mentions the western shores of Lake Fjalding, but you'll have to go a bit more to the west than that since all the Skaal Trackers are camped out in the snowy woods area west of the lake.
of 8: As with the previous quest, use your constant Detect Animal ability and the map menu to see where your next target is. There will be lots of them, but only a few at a time.
of 8: TIP: Also like the previous quest, this one is ridiculously hard unless you rest and tranform back into your human (or whatever) self. But don't do this before you start killing the Skaal, or they won't all appear, making the quest impossible to finish. Head out as a wolf and kill as many of them as possible, retreating east across Lake Fjalding to find a place to rest for a couple of hours when you need to restore HP. By the time you revert back from wolf form, you should have killed many of the Skaal and forced the rest to spawn.
of 8: When you get a journal entry acknowledging that the Skaal have abandoned the hunt, you need to start hunting the Spirit Bear they were after.
of 8: Unfortunately, your Detect Animal ability only detects humanoids (*they* are the animals when you're a wolf), so you'll have to hunt for the Spirit Bear visually.
of 8: I've always found it south of all the hunter camps, and just a bit north of the Gronn cave (location 38 on the Solstheim Map). It's a very large white bear, and should be easy to spot even against a snowy background.
of 8: Once it's dead, you're through with this quest, and only need to wait until 9 pm the following day to get your reward of a Summon Bonewolf spell that you can cast while in non-wolf form.
