Where can I find the buried pirate treasure that I keep hearing about?
1 of 10: Find the pirates who buried it and ask them.
2 of 10: Their undead remains are clattering around in the Himmelhost Barrow (location 18 on the Solstheim Map).
3 of 10: After defeating all of the pirate skeletons, search the captain's skeleton to find a key and a note.
4 of 10: The note gives a clue as to where to look for the treasure.
5 of 10: The first line of the note clearly refers to the Sun Stone (location 15 on the map), so go there to start the search.
6 of 10: The next line directs you northward to the Valbrandr Barrow (location 13 on the map).
7 of 10: Search around the Valbrandr Barrow for a muck-covered pirate chest.
8 of 10: You'll find it next to the barrow building on the back side. Carefully scan the ground until you see it.
9 of 10: Pick up some of the muck to get it out of the way, then use the treasure chest to open it with the pirate captain's key.
10 of 10: It contains lots of gold and jewels. Plunder hearty!
