The Elder Scrolls III: Bloodmoon Hints
Razing the Forest
1 of 17: Falco says that the next problem with the ever-problematic colony is that a bunch of Spriggans are sprigging around and pestering people.
2 of 17: So go to the colony and kill off all the Spriggans that attack you outside. They'll be at the east end of the colony, and some may be hiding behind buildings. (Remember, you have to kill each one three times to make it stay dead.)
3 of 17: If you're having trouble finding them, here are their exact locations. Remember that you have to kill all the Spriggans at one location before the ones at the next location will appear.
Location 1: By some large snow-covered rocks a short ways east of the colony. Location 2: Just south of Sados Relothan's house (the third Spriggan should appear here, too). Location 3: Near the North Storehouse.
4 of 17: Once you get a journal entry saying that you've killed them all, enter the colony's bar and talk to Unel Lloran.
5 of 17: NOTE: If you can't ever find all of the spriggans, you can force the needed journal entry in by pressing ~ to get the PC console and typing:
journal co_10 30
6 of 17: Lloran will tell you about the trees that can't be cut down, and how their roots probably extend way down into the mine.
7 of 17: So talk to some miners about the roots.
8 of 17: They'll say that they encountered roots they couldn't get past way down in the lower section of the mine.
9 of 17: Enter the mine and wind your way down the tunnels until you can reach a new branch of the mine that leads to a door to the Abandoned Mine Shaft.
10 of 17: The abandoned shaft is a very small area, and you'll soon find the roots near a pool of water.
11 of 17: When you get the journal entry for seeing the roots, report back to Lloran in the bar.
12 of 17: He'll want you to take him to see the roots, so escort him down to the abandoned shaft and show him.
13 of 17: He'll say that he can poison the roots with five bittergreen petals.
14 of 17: As he mentions, you'll have to sail back to Vvardenfell and shop around to find the petals.
15 of 17: The fastest non-cheat way to do that is to cast the Mark spell next to Lloran, then cast Almsivi Intervention to teleport to Gnisis. Enter the temple and buy five bittergreen petals from Zanmulk Sammalamus, then cast Recall.
16 of 17: CHEAT NOTE: If you'd rather skip even that fast method, then press ~ to get the console window and type:
player->additem "ingred_bittergreen_petals_01" 5
17 of 17: Give the petals to Lloran and then report back to Falco to get your $2,000 reward.
