The Elder Scrolls III: Bloodmoon Hints
The Moon Sugar Mystery
of 8: Talk to Severia Gratius in Fort Frostmoth's courtyard about "moon sugar investigation" and "Imperial matter" to get this quest. (Note that she won't be there until you finish the first Main Quest.)
of 8: She says Jeleen in the Imperial Cult Shrine building is the latest victim of this mysterious poisoning, so go see him about it.
of 8: Talk to him about "moon sugar investigation" and "silly song" to get a big clue as to who's behind all of this.
of 8: A lunatic who calls himself "Uncle Sweetshare" has a workshop way up NE of the fort (location 12 on the Solstheim Map). He's based his work on an old song that fits Jeleen's "silly song" description. (Also, he's wearing that dumb white fur hat that Severia told you the culprit wears.)
of 8: There's a dead Khajiit near his workshop who has a copy of the song on him if you want to see it.
of 8: Enter the workshop and talk to "Uncle Sweetshare" about the moon sugar investigation and his taken-on name.
of 8: You'll be given the option to kill him or let him live in exchange for his hat and a promise not to spread around any more of his "cheer."
of 8: Either way, give the hat to Severia back at the fort to finish up and get $1,500 (plus a unique magic shortsword if you're an Imperial Legion member).
