The Elder Scrolls III: Bloodmoon Hints
The Ritual of Beasts
of 12: Start on this quest by visiting and using the Beast Stone (location 4 on the Solstheim Map).
of 12: You're supposed to travel south and "find the Good Beast and ease its suffering," whatever that means.
of 12: The Good Beast is a big white bear, and it's currently under attack by a bunch of little Rieklings.
of 12: You'll find the bear and its attackers next to a small snow-covered hill a short way south of Lake Fjalding and SW of Thirsk.
of 12: CHEAT NOTE: To teleport straight to the Good Beast, bring down the console with ~ and type:
player->positioncell -158816,183742,833,150 x
of 12: Help the bear kill off all of the Rieklings, then see what you can do about its wound.
of 12: Use the bear like you would a container to open up an inventory-like display.
of 12: See that arrow? Pick it up to pull it out of the bear.
of 12: NOTE: Despite the fact that you can move your inventory items into the bear's inventory, don't do it. The Good Beast is no pack animal, and you'll never be able to get your stuff back.
of 12: After that, the bear needs to heal. You can either cast a spell that restores health on touch, or you can just press T and rest awhile. The bear will rest with you. (Or just stand next to him until his natural regenerative ability fully heals him.)
of 12: When you get the journal entry telling you that the Good Beast is fully healed and wants you to escort it back to the Beast Stone, start making your way back north.
of 12: When you reach the Beast Stone, simply use it again in order to finish the quest.
