The Elder Scrolls III: Bloodmoon Hints
The Skaal Test of Strength
of 13: When you talk to Heart-Fang to get this quest, he'll tell you to report to Wind-Eye out near Lake Fjalding.
of 13: That's the big frozen-over lake that's just west of Thirsk, so head down there.
of 13: You'll find Wind-Eye at the NE corner of the lakeshore.
of 13: Talk to him to learn that something's going on under the lake, and that some special Draugr named Aesliip is behind it all.
of 13: So dive down into the lake through one of the large holes in the ice and find the entrance to the Caves of Fjalding (location 41 on the Solstheim Map).
of 13: A bit south and east of the entrance is a passage that leads to Aesliip's Lair.
of 13: In the lair, find Aesliip and talk to him about his becoming a Draugr to stop some souped-up Daedra from invading Solstheim.
of 13: You'll eventually be given the choice of helping Aesliip destroy the Daedra or killing him on the spot.
of 13: If you choose to fight Aesliip, you can kill him and take his ring now and report directly back to Wind-Eye to finish up.
of 13: Otherwise, agree to help him fight, then head through the nearby barrier (which he'll drop) and go through the entrance to the Caverns area.
of 13: Run around the tunnels of the caverns, killing all of the Dire Frost Atronachs that you find.
of 13: There are a bunch of them. Once you kill them all, Aesliip will give you his ring and fall over dead.
of 13: Whether you got his ring the easy or the hard way, report back to Wind-Eye and then head back to the village to report to Heart-Fang.
