Blue Force Hints

I've been knocked down by a car. What'll I do?

  • At some time after you've booked the DUI, Jake is knocked off his Kawasaki 1000 Police Special by a car which has jumped a traffic stop sign (was this intentional?).  When exactly this happens in the game may vary (only a little) and is possibly dependent upon your previous sequence of gameplay.

    He is hospitalized but eventually recovers with only a minor knee injury.  Nevertheless, he is put on disability leave for several weeks -- no Kawasaki, only his own civilian bike!

    He's getting restless at home until Lyle comes to visit him.  There may be a link with Jake's parents' murders.  Lyle suggests he pokes around in his office, and gives him one of his firm's new plastic pocket calendar-cards.
