Blue Force Hints

How do I operate my bike on beat assignment?

  • 1 of 12: There's very little to operate.
  • 2 of 12: "Click" to mount and "Exit" to get off.
  • 3 of 12: Ignition gets you going, and provides you with a map of your territory -- the Tower District.
  • 4 of 12: Your police radio is for intercom.
  • 5 of 12: You may need your ticket book for any suspicious or obstructive cars, etc.
  • 6 of 12: At some time you'll probably need your Miranda card to "read suspects their rights".
  • 7 of 12: There are nine or ten locations on the map of the Tower District.  Keep visiting them.  Often there is nothing at all to be done.  But every now and then, a new situation emerges -- generally sparked off by some previous action(s).
  • 8 of 12: So keep making the rounds, and trying!
  • 9 of 12: WARNING! -- The next two hints give you some pretty flagrant spoilers as to how to behave -- and not behave.
  • 10 of 12: If you haven't already done so, open and look in your glove (storage) compartment and take whatever necessary.
  • 11 of 12: If you don't want to be killed or severely reprimanded, and you like earning as many points as possible, strictly obey police protocol.
  • 12 of 12: In particular, be careful of the following:

    * Acknowledge receipt of all incoming messages to Jake (Roamer One).

    * Inform Dispatch of arrival at and departure from destinations.

    * Report on the arrest of suspicious characters and check their credentials.

    * When necessary, handcuff suspects and "read them their rights."

    * Body-search any dangerous looking individuals.

    * Above all, you have been warned of some ~very~ dangerous goons around. Call for backup if and when in doubt.
