Broken Sword: Shadow Of The Templars (Director's Cut) Hints
What can I use to pry the door open?
of 16: This is where this room begins to get a little complicated.
of 16: You need to use the shell case to get the door open.
of 16: I hear you cry: But how can I use the shell case when it's propping up the cross?
of 16: Well, the shell case can be taken back out of the cross once you've inserted the stone cylinder into the panel.
of 16: BUT, the shell case needs to be crushed into a thinner shape first.
of 16: And in order to do that, you're going to need to crush it beneath the falling right-hand slab (the one we came in by).
of 16: It falls down when you pull something away from the cross.
of 16: I hear you cry: But I need the shell case to open that slab in the first place!
of 16: Wrong! You can use something else, as long as you don't need that item to open the LEFT-hand slab.
of 16: You can use the stone cylinder to prop up the cross too.
of 16: Do that, then use the shell case with the right-hand slab, just at the foot of it, where it will hit when it drops.
of 16: Now pull the stone cylinder away and the slab will drop right onto the shell case.
of 16: You can then insert the stone cylinder under the cross again to raise it, and then go grab the shell case.
of 16: This shell case can then be used under the cross again, and the stone cylinder used in the panel again, to open the left-hand slab a little way again.
of 16: Now, grab the shell case from the cross, and use it on the left-hand slab to pull it all the way up.
