2 of 6: You're going to need to find someone to help you. Someone with a bit of a grudge against Khan/Moerlin.
3 of 6: Ask Lady Piermont about him, and you'll find out that he has messed her around a little. She's all too happy to help you stitch him up.
4 of 6: If you ask her about the key, she will go and ask the receptionist to deposit some jewelery in the hotel's safe.
5 of 6: Use this opportunity well.
6 of 6: You can grab the key in this period. If he returns, just ask her again, and she will send him off to the safe once more.
