Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon Hints
How do I solve the wine bottle puzzle?
of 10: George needs to use information that he has, to determine how to manipulate the wine bottles.
of 10: It should be fairly obvious, from the trail of blood, that the wine rack hides yet another secret opening, and the wine bottles are the "key" to opening it.
of 10: Perhaps the bottles represent something -- based on the geographic locations from which they come.
of 10: Do you remember anything else in the game that mentioned these different countries?
of 10: During one of his (boring) mini-lectures, Andre talked about the travels of St. Stefan.
of 10: Fortunately, you don't have to recall it verbatim; check George's notebook.
of 10: St. Stefan traveled through five areas -- areas which just happen to match the five wine bottles.
of 10: The chronology of his travels is important at this point.
of 10: Have George select the wine bottles in the same order as the geographic locations through which St. Stefan traveled. Remember, to "Use" a wine bottle which is different then the one currently highlighted, scroll through the active items with the "Page Up" and "Page Down" keys.
of 10: The knight, Stefan, transported a relic from Israel, travelling through Italy, Germany and the Rheims region before delivering it to the Berentoires Preceptory.
