  • 1 of 16: He may be a guard, but he's still just a dog. How are guard dogs usually dealt with?
  • 2 of 16: The usual cliché is to throw them some meat to distract them from their duties long enough to sneak by.
  • 3 of 16: You still have a salami in your inventory from the meat packing plant. Try using it on the dog.
  • 4 of 16: George will selfishly refuse to give the dog all of his precious vintage salami.
  • 5 of 16: So cut off a piece and save the rest.
  • 6 of 16: Use the knife you've got on the salami in inventory to get a slice cut off.
  • 7 of 16: However, using the salami slice on the dog won't get him away from the door. He'll just eat it there, and still won't let you by.
  • 8 of 16: Since George can't think to toss the salami slice over somewhere to draw the dog away from the door, it's up to you to find a spot where the game will let you use the slice.
  • 9 of 16: Run over to the corner of the room opposite the one the door and dog are in. That'll get you a view of the little balcony that's attached to the hallway that you started in.
  • 10 of 16: Move the cursor slowly over the entire balcony to find an action spot.
  • 11 of 16: It's over near the left end of the balcony. If you look really hard, you might can see the line that's hanging down there.
  • 12 of 16: It's that line that you're going to attach your salami slice to.
  • 13 of 16: However, you'll first have to run all the way back up to the balcony and untie the line.
  • 14 of 16: To do that, move into the balcony until you get the "outer view" of it, then click on the line, which will be right next to you.
  • 15 of 16: Now use the salami slice on the line to get George to tie it onto the end of the line and dangle it down to where the dog can see it.
  • 16 of 16: Since it's too high for the dog to reach, he can't just quickly gobble it up and return to door duty, and you can take your time in getting back down there.
