How can I get past all of the laser alarm gadgets?
1 of 17: Remember what George said when you turned on the laser system's test mode.
2 of 17: You need a way to be able to see the lasers so you can avoid them.
3 of 17: As you'll find if you walk around, you can't go very far without triggering the lasers. However, that's a good thing, since it greatly limits the area that you have to explore to find a solution.
4 of 17: Look around for interactive items that are within your small "safe to tread on" area.
5 of 17: There are a couple of display cabinets, plus a vent grille in the wall to the right of the door you came in through.
6 of 17: The cabinets can only be looked at, so check out the grille.
7 of 17: Click on it to open it up, then try clicking on it again.
8 of 17: George doesn't do anything on the second click, which makes it pretty obvious that you need to use an inventory item on the vent opening.
9 of 17: If you examine the open vent (right-click on it to get this option), you'll find that the vent is on, meaning that it's blowing air into the room.
10 of 17: Think about what your goal is here. How might you use the air-blowing vent to help you see the laser alerts?
11 of 17: Remember how you set up a smoking log gimmick to clear out the office at the meat packing plant earlier?
12 of 17: If you can get this vent to blow some smoke around, you might be able to see the laser alerts.
13 of 17: Now make your way slowly along, looking for laser beams and their emitters on the nearby wall.
14 of 17: The first set of emitters is on the wall just past the first display cabinet.
15 of 17: Stop near them and watch them to discover that you can sometimes see red laser light coming from them, and sometimes not. This is due to the laser system being set to test mode.
16 of 17: When you can't see the red lasers, quickly walk past the emitters, but don't go too far, or you may stumble into the next set of laser beams while they're on.
17 of 17: There are four sets of laser emitters along that wall that you have to get past, the last of which can be very hard to see until you're already past it.
