What's the solution to the third statue's puzzle?
1 of 11: This statue also has the four-Roman-numeral gadget, but once again has a new type of puzzle.
2 of 11: This one involves several symbols, including fleur-de-lis and ornate lions, so search your manuscript for those symbols.
3 of 11: You'll find them on the shields of the knights that are shown in the upper right corner of the manuscript.
4 of 11: Check the shield symbols of the leftmost of the four knights up there.
5 of 11: Those are the four symbols that you'll need to set the puzzle to.
6 of 11: Unfortunately, you don't always get the same colors on the puzzle as you do on the shield. Also, even if you do find a puzzle setting with the same symbol and the same colors, it may not be the right one.
7 of 11: For instance, the top left design on the shield shows three blue fleur-de-lis on a yellow background, and you can set the first stone to exactly that symbol, but it isn't the right one.
8 of 11: However, the symbols the shield shows are the correct ones, even if the colors it shows aren't.
9 of 11: So set each of the four stones to one of the settings that has the same symbols as on the shield. If that doesn't solve the puzzle, then change some of the stones to other settings that have the same symbols but different colors.
