Secrets of the Ark: A Broken Sword Game Hints
How can I get the guard's keys?
of 12: Remember that you can call him over by clicking on your cell door.
of 12: However, he's always cautious enough to keep his distance from you so you can't attack him through the bars or sneakily steal his keys.
of 12: And yet, you still need to figure out a way to incapacitate him and get his keys. That's where your inventory items come in handy.
of 12: If you can't imagine how any of those items could be useful, then try using them randomly. Click each one on every interactive item that's within your reach.
of 12: You can skip all that if you realize that the marbles might could be used to trip up the guard if you can figure out how to get him to step on them without seeing them.
of 12: What could you use the marbles on to get them in place?
of 12: If you click them on the drain system, George will toss them so that they end up on the floor just outside the cell, near the drain. (Hopefully, the guard is color-blind, and won't see those brightly colored marbles in plain sight down there.)
of 12: After the marbles are in place, call the guard by clicking on the cell door.
of 12: Uh, oh! It looks like he *did* see the marbles, since he keeps his distance from them!
of 12: But if you had called him over before setting the marble trap, you'd realize that he always stops short of the spot where the marbles are, whether they're there yet or not.
