Secrets of the Ark: A Broken Sword Game Hints
After I go up some steps, an alarm sounds!
1 of 8: You need to prevent that alarm from sounding.
2 of 8: Notice that George says he should've bound and gagged the unconscious guard. Apparently, the guard wakes up on cue and sounds the alarm when you go up those stairs.
3 of 8: Thankfully, the game will put you back right next to that guard, giving you another chance to do things right.
4 of 8: So find something to gag the guard with, and something else to tie his hands with.
5 of 8: You have both of the items you need already in inventory.
6 of 8: If you right-click on the marble string, you'll learn that it's a strong nylon cord.
7 of 8: So use that on the guard to tie his hands with.
8 of 8: The piece of cloth that used to be your marble bag is the obvious choice for a gag, so use that on the guard, too.
