Secrets of the Ark: A Broken Sword Game Hints
How can I get the fan to where it'll block the elevator door open?
1 of 9: You can still click on it to get George to push and pull it around.
2 of 9: In fact, you can click on two different sides of it to get George to grab onto it two different ways. (I'll call the two sides the "left" and "right" sides.)
3 of 9: Click on the floor next to a side to get George to walk there, then click on the side to get him to grab ahold of the fan on that side.
4 of 9: Now do you see how you're going to get the fan over to where it'll block the elevator door open?
5 of 9: Start by grabbing onto the left side, then clicking behind George to pull the fan over toward the elevator.
6 of 9: If George runs up against a wall, right-click to get him to let go of the fan, then have him grab ahold of its right side and pull it back once or twice.
7 of 9: Return to the fan's left side and pull it backward until it's in front of the elevator door.
8 of 9: Then switch back to the fan's right side and push it forward (the Up Arrow key works best for this) until it blocks the elevator door.
9 of 9: NOTE: You'll get a comment from George when it's in the right spot.
