How can I distract that monk?
1 of 11: Look around for interactive items.
2 of 11: There are four large planters on big pedestals near the four corners of the inner garden area.
3 of 11: Examining them does no good, and that's the only icon you can get on them, so you'll clearly need to use an inventory item on them.
4 of 11: Look through your inventory to see what might make sense.
5 of 11: Also note that there are pigeons flying about the garden area. Remember what they flock to?
6 of 11: You still have the loaf of moldy bread you stole from Archie. Try using it on one of the interactive pots.
7 of 11: Sure 'nuff! Several pigeons will quickly flock to the pot you tossed the crumbs at.
8 of 11: But not just any pot will do for distracting the monk who's in your way.
9 of 11: Experimentation will yield the fact that the planter nearest the monk (the back right one) is the only one that will do.
10 of 11: After a few seconds, the monk will become interested in the pigeons, and will walk over to watch them.
11 of 11: To avoid being seen by him, run and hide in the inner garden's back left corner as soon as you regain control after tossing the bread crumbs.
