Secrets of the Ark: A Broken Sword Game Hints

How can I get George to roll his chair on the carpet?

  • 1 of 12: Maybe if something were to make the carpet a bit slicker, he could do it.
  • 2 of 12: Looking around for interactive items, you'll find a harness against the wall on the right, and a power switch near the floor a bit left of it.
  • 3 of 12: The harness can't be used yet, so try the power switch.
  • 4 of 12: Using it will knock down a rod with a hook on the end that George will grab onto.
  • 5 of 12: You can now click on the harness to move it around a bit, but it doesn't seem to do you any good.
  • 6 of 12: Carefully scan the area for items that weren't interactive before, but are now.
  • 7 of 12: One item is the large metal box, which apparently has someone inside. However, talking to him isn't useful.
  • 8 of 12: The other item is the bottle of baby oil that's on the table that's just to the right of where the harness was hanging.
  • 9 of 12: NOTE: If the harness is still hanging next to the table, you can't access the baby oil, so click on the harness to move it out of the way.
  • 10 of 12: That oil should be good and slick! Try clicking on it.
  • 11 of 12: George will use his hooked rod to knock the oil bottle over, spilling it onto the carpet.
  • 12 of 12: You can now roll your chair over a large chunk of the carpet (more than just what the oil is on).
