Defuse Bomb

  • 1 of 7: Before you can even look at the bomb closely, you'll have to hack into a U.S. military computer and get some bomb information.
  • 2 of 7: Use your PDA to connect to the US Military Field Notes server, then solve the requisite hacking puzzle.
  • 3 of 7: This is a fairly complicated hacking puzzle, and the bomb is running in real-time, so if you want to figure out the hacking puzzle yourself, save your game first so you can restore it and use the solution at top speed once you know it. (Or just use the solution in the graphic below.)
  • 4 of 7: After the notes are downloaded, go to the bottom of the PDA's notes section and click on the red link there.
  • 5 of 7: After reading all the note sections, try clicking the magnifying glass on the bomb.
  • 6 of 7: Once you've wearing rubber gloves, you can finally get a close-up of the bomb and go about defusing it.
  • 7 of 7: After the bomb is defused, Nico will show up in a cut-scene and get you started on the first task in Phoenix.
