1 of 3: If she does this, it's because you didn't go down to the cable area and walk close enough to the cables to get George to comment on them.
2 of 3: I'm not talking about clicking the gear icon on the cables or examining them, but simply walking along the board walkway far enough that George says something about the cables and then backs off.
3 of 3: Go do that, then return to the electrical box and try to get Anna Maria to help with the switch again. She should do it right this time.
