Secrets of the Ark: A Broken Sword Game Hints
How can I get rid of the elevator-guarding goon?
of 15: He certainly ran over fast enough when you opened the door that led from the stairwell to his floor.
of 15: Maybe he'd come over again if you closed the door.
of 15: To do that, click on the catch on the floor that's holding the door open.
of 15: Unfortunately, that gets you caught and shot.
of 15: Look around near the door for something that might help with that.
of 15: There's a light switch on the wall just to the left of the door.
of 15: What if the lights were off when you closed the door to get the goon's attention?
of 15: That's a start, but what will Nico do when the goon comes to the door, even if he doesn't see her?
of 15: You need to rig up a trap for him. Check your inventory for useful items.
of 15: Nico is too lady-like (or whatever) to conk him with the jack handle, but what about that engine oil?
of 15: It's slick, and there are a lot of stairs nearby.
of 15: Use the engine oil on the door's catch to spread it around on the floor.
of 15: Then turn the lights off and close the door.
of 15: Even with the lights off, you'll have to run into the left corner (the one past the light switch, not next to it) to keep the goon from seeing you.
of 15: He won't fall down the stairs, but he'll still be knocked out when he slips on the oil.
