Secrets of the Ark: A Broken Sword Game Hints
How can I get that person to tell me the code?
of 10: She can't exactly *tell* you the code, since you can't talk to her through the door with "Elvis" watching.
of 10: Besides, she's undoubtedly bound and gagged so she can't yell for help or open the door from her side and escape.
of 10: However, even though she's probably tied up, she may be able to scribble the code down for you if you sneak her something that she can write on.
of 10: Look through your inventory -- what can be written on?
of 10: The hotel flyer will do nicely, so use it on the closet door to pass it under the door. (For some reason, "Elvis" won't mind this being done.)
of 10: The receptionist probably doesn't have anything to write with, so you'll need to pass her a writing implement, too.
of 10: You should have found one of those during your clue hunt in Anna Maria's room earlier.
of 10: The ballpoint pen from the floor of Anna Maria's room should do nicely, so use that on the door to pass it to the receptionist.
of 10: She'll manage to scribble the door code on the flyer and shove it and the pen back out to you.
of 10: Click on the flyer to pick both it and the pen back up, and to learn the door code.
