The Cameron Files Hints
Inventory
The inventory (i.e., items that you may have picked up and are carrying) in "The Cameron Files" is crucial to solving the various puzzles throughout the game. Any items you are carrying will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.
Using inventory items in "The Cameron Files" is actually quite simple. When you are in a location that can interact with an inventory item you are carrying, the cursor will change to a pair of gears, to indicate such. You can then select an item from your inventory, and attempt to use it (normally by clicking) on the appropriate location on the screen.
The bottom right of your inventory screen shows three special items. The first is Cameron's journal, which Cameron will write into throughout the game. The center item is a folder where Cameron keeps his important papers. The right item, although not active at the beginning of the game, will later be the place where Cameron keeps a map of the area surrounding the manor.
