How do I open the box?
1 of 9: When you opened the bookcase, you should have seen some words on the back of the door.
2 of 9: The words are in a language that you won't be able to read.
3 of 9: Where have you seen these words before?
4 of 9: They should look familiar to you, because they are the same words from top of the Auld Alliance Treaty between France and Scotland of 1295.
5 of 9: Why would the Auld Alliance Treaty be important?
6 of 9: The combination for the lock box is in Roman numerals...
7 of 9: ...and the year on the document is also in Roman numerals.
8 of 9: Apply the year of the document (1295) to the lockbox -- in Roman numerals.
