How do I overcome the mummy?

• 1 of 14: There are several steps necessary to defeating the mummy.  The first is to incapacitate him.
• 2 of 14: You are in a timed sequence, so every second counts.
• 3 of 14: If you go around the edge of the pit clockwise (i.e., turning to your left, after descending from the stairs), you are going to waste precious time.
• 4 of 14: At the bottom of the stairs, turn right, and walk behind the mummy.
• 5 of 14: The mummy is becoming infuriated.  You're going to have to find a way to get him under control -- and fast.
• 6 of 14: You're going to need something mystic and powerful.  And (hopefully) already in your inventory!
• 7 of 14: Have you opened the metal box in your inventory yet?
  • How do I open the metal box?
• 8 of 14: If not, you may not have time to do it now.  But you might, if you hurry.
• 9 of 14: Remove the black scarab from the metal box, and use it on the mummy.
• 10 of 14: That temporarily incapacitates the mummy... but not for good.  You'll need to do something else.  (Clue is the red timer bar... again!)
• 11 of 14: What was the mummy worshipping when you arrived?
• 12 of 14: It was the male statuette, corresponding to the female statuette of Ka.
• 13 of 14: You have something in your inventory that can replace that statuette.
• 14 of 14: Take the female statuette of Ka, and apply it (click) to the mummy.  (Cool video, eh?)
