How do I get something to happen?

  • 1 of 24: You'll need to look around upstairs...
  • 2 of 24: ...especially behind the locked door.
  • 3 of 24: When you're ready to leave the room again, this will trigger another event...
  • 4 of 24: ...providing you have two specific items in your inventory.
  • 5 of 24: The items you need can be found downstairs...
  • 6 of 24: ...in Moira's office.
  • 7 of 24: You'll need to do some research.
  • 8 of 24: First, take a closer look at the desk.
  • 9 of 24: There is a book there.
  • 10 of 24: You'll find more than a book.
  • 11 of 24: Take the Isfet card that is with the book (this is one item you shall need).
  • 12 of 24: Next, move to another area of the office to do more research.
  • 13 of 24: There are some topics available to be looked up...
  • 14 of 24: ...in the file cabinet.
  • 15 of 24: Open the file cabinet drawers and move the cursor slower across each divider card.  If there is a card available in that section, the cursor will change to a magnifying glass.  There may be more than one card per section -- moving the cursor slowly from left to right should help you find all the cards.
  • 16 of 24: Pay particular interest in the items filed under "M".
  • 17 of 24: There are several cards filed here.
  • 18 of 24: The one you should be interested in is on the left-most side of the drawer.
  • 19 of 24: Take the Maat card (this is the second item which you will need).
  • 20 of 24: Okay, if you have the two cards, and you've been to the red curtained room upstairs (previously locked), there is only one more thing to do.
  • 21 of 24: You'll need to be standing in a specific spot for something to happen.
  • 22 of 24: Go out to the hallway outside Moira's office.
  • 23 of 24: With your back to Moira's door, pivot to the left.
  • 24 of 24: Move forward one step.  This should trigger a cut-scene and progress the plot.
