The Cameron Files: Pharaoh's Curse Hints

What do I do upstairs in the Red Curtain room?

  • 1 of 26: Do not continue with this hint until you've been inside Moira's room at the hotel, and have completed that rest of the section pertaining to that visit to the Hotel.
  • 2 of 26: Did you thoroughly explore the Red Curtain room?
  • 3 of 26: In particular, did you notice several items in the center of the room?
  • 4 of 26: Hmm... a feather...
  • 5 of 26: ...an ostrich feather, to be exact...
  • 6 of 26: ...you should have already seen a reference to an ostrich feather somewhere.
  • 7 of 26: Perhaps if you did some research, you could figure out what the items are for.
  • 8 of 26: Moira had left a file within the museum with some helpful information...
  • 9 of 26: ...of course, it isn't there anymore...
  • 10 of 26: ...Cameron is now carrying it.
  • 11 of 26: Open the inventory and look in the wallet.
  • 12 of 26: Read the cards there.
  • 13 of 26: The Maat card describes the "Essence of Maat."
  • 14 of 26: You can duplicate the formula described for yourself.
  • 15 of 26: You have all the ingredients in this room.
  • 16 of 26: Follow the instructions on the card to know what to do in what order.
  • 17 of 26: The card says "Oil made from a combination of turpentine and ostrich feather crushed together using a scepter of Ouadji."
  • 18 of 26: According to the instructions, the first thing you'll need to use is the vial of turpentine.
  • 19 of 26: It is inside the tall wavy bottle.
  • 20 of 26: Pour the liquid from the bottle into the bowl-like sculpture.
  • 21 of 26: Next, add the ostrich feather to the liquid.
  • 22 of 26: Mash it together with the Ouadji (which is actually the pestle found on the right side of the bowl-like sculpture).
  • 23 of 26: You have now completed making the "Essence of Maat."
  • 24 of 26: But you'll still need something to carry it around in.
  • 25 of 26: A suitable container is on this very work surface.
  • 26 of 26: Take the blue jar and use it on the "Essence of Maat."
