A Quiet Weekend in Capri Hints
How do I figure out the Inter-dimensional Prefix?
of 13: First, start by reading the outline in the back of Gravitiello's diary.
of 13: Take special note of the second page, second paragraph from the bottom of the outline.
of 13: It talks about Inter-dimensional communication between Parallel Universes in the BASE CLUSTER.
of 13: Now, return to the diary itself, and notice his diary entries of six Clusters and their codes? Only one of the Clusters contains the code that will help you configure the prefix.
of 13: It's "basic", my dear Watson!
of 13: Gravitiellio made a note in the diary to fax information to the other people in the BASE Cluster. The only Cluster listed in the diary as a BASE Cluster is the Melito Cluster.
of 13: Again, read the second page of the outline, taking note of the relationship between Clusters and Parallel Universes. Then read the December 21st, February 2nd, and March 1st entries in the diary.
of 13: Gravitiello talks about communicating with people in three other parallel universes and trying to communicate with a fourth. See the notations by the names in the March 1st entry: [no.4], [no5], and [no1]? And the February 2nd entry tells us he can communicate with [no.2]. So what can be deduced from what you've learned so far?
of 13: The Melito Cluster contains the code number you need to calculate the Inter-dimensional Prefix. The Cluster has 5 codes. From the notations by the names (no.4, no.5, no.1), you can deduce that each notation matches one of the codes in this Cluster. Therefore: [no.1] = 1602; [no.2] = 1604; [no.3] = 1606; [no.4] = 1608; [no.5] = 1610. One can then assume that the only universe left with which he can communicate is [no.2]. Therefore the code you need is 1604.
of 13: It's time to put the code into the equation for the Inter-dimensional Prefix.
of 13: The formula is [The number of the dimension you wish to call] divided by 2 + 77.
of 13: With the code, the formula looks like this [1604] divided by 2 = 802 Then: [802] + [77] = 879
