About this Hint File

  • Like most of the hint files I write, this hint file is based on the German version of the game, but I cross-checked the story and puzzles of the game with some walkthroughs in the internet. As I'm German myself, and English is not my native language, it is possible that I use odd wording in some hints. Although it's more likely caused by trying to translate from a German sentence, it might also hide a hint in itself.

    This hint file is structured like the chapters you encounter in the game. From the first level of each chapter, I tried to just point out the main tasks and still be vague enough to not spoil the game by giving too much info. If you can't find your specific question on the chapter's top level, try to think in a wider frame, i.e. WHY you need to get a specific item and look in the hint for that task.

    Although I don't know whether some puzzles have multiple solutions, I doubt it (Ceville is an adventure, not a role playing game). Therefore I just gave the solution that I used to solve the puzzles. And as I'm really bad in guessing, what might be trivial for other gamers, I tried to describe every step. If I still stepped over a problem you need help with, contact me and ask me directly. If I get enough questions about the same topic I will update the hint file and therefore improve it for other gamers.
