Adventure at the Chateau d'Or Hints

How do I open the door on the left?

  • 1 of 7: First, concentrate on opening the door on the right and exploring inside that room.
  • 2 of 7: You'll need to set the two urns to two specific colors to open the left door.
  • 3 of 7: There is a hint within the game to tell you what colors you need to use.
  • 4 of 7: Specifically, look on the CD called "Sensory Focal Devices".  (You'll need to go to the library to use the CD.)
  • 5 of 7: One of the pictures on the CD illustrates the concept of the urns and the mirror.
  • 6 of 7: In that picture, make note of the colors of the urns.
  • 7 of 7: The left one should be dark blue and the right one should be purple.  Match those colors on the urns, and the left door will open.
