Hanging Gardens

  • Cost: 200 Shields

    Prerequisite: Pottery

    Effect: Makes three content citizens happy in the city where it is built, and one content citizen happy in all other friendly cities.

    Effects expire with the discovery of Railroad.

    Since I hate building Colosseums (they're expensive to build and maintain), I find this Wonder to be a God-send. Of course it feels very nice to be the greatest ruler on Earth (at least according to your citizens), and Railroad is a long way down the track (no pun intended), so I don't worry about it expiring.
