Solar Plant
If you can take the time to research Environmentalism then you would seriously want to consider building a solar plant to replace any other existing power source. If you have no existing power plant in a city, then definitely build a Solar Plant. Solar Plants have many advantages: they still increase production by 50%, but they also reduce industrial pollution to zero, they help to reduce the risk of population pollution, and lower the computer's count of polluted squares. It is expensive (320), and the upkeep is high (4), but it is the ultimate in clean power.
