Civilization II Hints
Super Highway
A Super Highway system can do wonders when build in the proper city. It will increase trade to such an extent that you may even get We Love the Leader Day. This improvement is one you must build if the city would profit from it. That is the key thing to consider, however. Would the city benefit from a Super Highway? Well, look at how many land squares you have with roads or railroads that are producing trade; these are the only ones that will receive the benefits brought about by a Super Highway. Ocean squares, land squares which produce no trade, and squares without roads will not be affected. Make sure that the resulting increase in trade will be worth the three gold you spend per turn to keep it up and the resources and time you spend building it.
