How can I read the notes?

  • 1 of 11: Thomas mentioned the notes might be in some sort of code. Iris obviously didn't want anyone else to read them.
  • 2 of 11: It's not actually a code though -- it has more to do with the way the note was written. Did you notice how thin the strips of papyrus were?
  • 3 of 11: Perhaps they had been wrapped around something when they were written.
  • 4 of 11: Try combining it with some suitable items from your inventory.
  • 5 of 11: Unfortunately, the papyrus stalks are not thick enough.
  • 6 of 11: You should have another stick, though it might not be useable in its current form.
  • 7 of 11: In fact, it's broken in two.
  • 8 of 11: Combine the notes with the mended stick to read them.
  • 9 of 11: You'll find the second note still can't be read because it's soaking wet.
  • 10 of 11: And now the ink has faded. The gods must really hate us.
  • 11 of 11: Finally, the second note is readable as well. Wrap it around the stick to find out what Iris wanted to tell you.
