Cleopatra: A Queen's Destiny Hints

How do I use the chariot?

  • 1 of 14: Let's just play around with it. See what happens when you remove all the weights from the counterweight.
  • 2 of 14: After hearing Thomas moan about how heavy the weights are, the actual chariot comes down.
  • 3 of 14: Apparently, this contraption moves only by difference in weight.
  • 4 of 14: That means that if we want to get up there, we'll have to make sure the counterweight is heavier than we are.
  • 5 of 14: If we load up the counterweight though, we won't be able to get into the chariot because it will be at the top.
  • 6 of 14: Notice that rope on your right? It's attached to the counterweight.
  • 7 of 14: That means that we can always pull the counterweight down.
  • 8 of 14: Maybe if we loaded up the chariot first, so that even if we add weights to the counterweight, the chariot will still be heavier?
  • 9 of 14: Play around with it until you get the balance right.
  • 10 of 14: You'll need to load 9 weights into the counterweight. And 11 into the chariot.
  • 11 of 14: Now when we untie the rope, the chariot should come down.
  • 12 of 14: When we start unloading it however, once it becomes lighter than the counterweight, it'll shoot up again.
  • 13 of 14: Better step into the chariot before unloading. If the chariot is empty but you're not moving, you might want to try emptying your pockets.
  • 14 of 14: Especially if you're carrying sandbags with you, just leave them next to the chariot.
